Radiocadena Univision Launches New Talk Radio Program “Directo Al Blanco” With Cuauhtémoc Blanco
Chicago, IL -- Univision Radio, the leading Spanish-language radio group in the U.S., announced today that Chicago Fire’s star player, and Mexican international midfielder Cuauhtémoc Blanco has joined RadioCadena, Univision’s national AM radio network, to host “Directo Al Blanco” (Straight to the Target), a one-hour weekly program featuring behind the scenes information, interviews and exclusive soccer commentary from Blanco himself.

“Directo Al Blanco” will be a call-in show where listeners will have an opportunity to talk to Blanco and get tips about their favorite sport, soccer. Listeners are encouraged to call in and talk to Blanco about sports, favorite soccer teams and get his opinion about what is happening on the playing field.
Blanco currently plays for Chicago Fire in the United States’ Major League Soccer division and is the only Mexican football player with an award in a major international FIFA competition. He also earned the MVP award by the Mexican First League Division five times.
