Piolin por la Mañana Presents “Jugando por un Sueño” (Playing for a Dream)

Glendale, CA -- Univision Radio, the leading Spanish-language radio group in the U.S. and KSCA La Nueva 101.9 FM, today announced that Eddie “Piolín” Sotelo, host of “Piolín Por La Mañana”, the #1 morning show in the country, will launch his latest on-air competition: “Jugando por un Sueño” this Friday June 9 to coincide with Germany 2006.

The game will include 10 of Mexico’s greatest stars: Joan Sebastian, Conjunto Primavera, Los Tigres del Norte, Banda El Recodo, El Gigante de America Bronco, Jenni Rivera, Lupillo Rivera, Julio Preciado, Alicia Villarreal and Sergio Vega. Each of the artists contributed $5,000 to a fund totaling $50,000 and each artist will be cheering on his or her favorite team to win in Germany 2006. Every artist will be teamed-up with a person who has a special dream. The artist who ends up with the winning team at the end of Germany 2006 on July 9 will win the $50,000 to make his special person’s dream come true.

Each of the contestants has a story to tell and each story is of great need and sacrifice. Listen to “Piolin por La Mañana”, Monday through Friday from 4 am – 11 am and Saturday from 6 am to 10 am on La Nueva 101.9 FM, and be part of the dream.
