Chas Wilson Promoted to General Sales Manager of Univision & Telefutura Stations in Houston

Houston, TX -- We are pleased to announce the promotion of Chas Wilson to General Sales Manager of Univision and TeleFutura Houston.  Chas has been with Univision for almost 14 years and has served as Local Sales Manager and, more recently, National Sales Manager of the Houston stations.  “I’ve known Chas for many years, including competing against him when we both worked for English language stations, and have always respected his professionalism, knowledge, and aggressive salesmanship”, said Craig Bland, VP and General Manager for Univision and TeleFutura Houston.  Wilson commented, “I am thrilled at the opportunity to lead the Univision/TeleFutura sales team in Houston.  It is an outstanding opportunity because the combination of our programming, promotion and viewer connection is unparalleled.”   Prior to joining Univision/TeleFutura Houston, Chas was the National Sales Manager for Houston’s NBC affiliate.  He also held positions at NBC and TeleRep in Chicago.

Chas graduated from the University of Illinois and has a MBA from Northwestern University.  He and his wife Patti have two daughters.
