Univision Radio Hosts 26th Annual “Fiestas Patrias” Celebration
Houston, TX -- Univision Radio, the largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States, today announced that its stations KLTN 102.9-FM, KOVE-106.5FM, KQBU-93.3FM, KLAT-1010AM and KRTX-980AM will present the 26TH annual “Fiestas Patrias Celebración 2006” (Fiestas Patrias Celebration 2006), a spectacular celebration of Hispanic culture and communities, on Sunday, September 3, 2006, from 12 – 7p.m. at the Reliant Center located at One Reliant Park, Houston, TX.
Together with Univision Channel 45 and Telefutura Channel 67, the “Fiestas Patrias Celebración 2006” will be more fun than ever with many wonderful treats for children, adults, and the entire family. As in previous years, this wonderful event is free to the public, and tickets are available at all Houston area Fiesta stores.
The “Fiestas Patrias Celebración 2006” continues to be one of the largest cultural events of its kind in the state of Texas, celebrating the pageantry, sounds, and culture of the Hispanic community. The special event features numerous booths and exhibits featuring arts, crafts, authentic foods, fun and games, sports, non-stop live music, helpful information about health and dental care, automotive and home ownership, home improvement, travel, beauty, and fashion, and many special treats and surprises for the entire family.
