Univision Radio Las Vegas Launches New Format at 99.3 FM
KRGT to play hits from 70’s, 80’s and 90’s
Las Vegas, NV -- Univision Radio Las Vegas today announced the launch of a new format for the 99.3 FM station. Formerly known as “La Kalle 99.3 FM,” the new “Recuerdo 99.3 FM” will play a mix of hits from the 70’s through the 90’s.
The change is a result of extensive research in the market where listeners expressed an interest in a more varied format. Recuerdo 99.3 FM will follow a Spanish adult hits format that is music intensive, playing favorites from the ‘70s, ‘80s and early ‘90s. Recuerdo will play ballads and rancheras from artists like José José, Los Bukis, Joan Sebastian, Los Temerarios, Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez and more.
The station will target Adults 25-49, complimenting Univision Radio’s other two Las Vegas stations, La Nueva 103.5 FM (KISF), currently the #1 station in Las Vegas with Adults 18-34 (Arbitron Fall 2005) and KLSQ 870 AM Radio Variedades.
