Univision Names Jeff Zimmerman, Vice President, National Sales, Dallas

Los Angeles, CA -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, announced today that Jeff Zimmerman has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Univision and TeleFutura National Sales Dallas, serving all owned and operated stations as well as affiliated stations.  His promotion will be effective September 1st.
 
Most recently, Zimmerman has served for 2 ˝ years as Vice President, Marketing & Business Development for the South Central region. He was promoted into that position after serving 5 years as a National Account Executive on the Dallas Univision sales team.  Since his arrival at Univision in 1999, he has been successful in developing client and agency business within the South Central region with a specialty in automotive.  
 
Prior to Univision, Zimmerman was a National Account Executive for Blair Television in Dallas for 5 ˝ years where he handled national/regional sales for NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX affiliated television stations nationwide.  Additionally, he was responsible for opening the Telemundo National Sales Office in San Antonio in 1993.  His experience also includes local sales for Telecable Targeting, representing ESPN and Prime Sports in the DFW Metroplex in the early 1990’s. 
 
In addition to his sales experience, Zimmerman has served on numerous boards and is very involved in coordinating DFW media community charitable events. He has his degree in Psychology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and lives in Flower Mound, Texas with his wife and two children.
