Univision and Colgate Partner to Bring Oral Health Education to Hispanics

Los Angeles, CA -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, and Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE:CL), the world leader in oral care, today announced the renewal of their oral health education partnership aimed at Hispanics.

Univision and Colgate are committed to serving the oral health interests of the growing Hispanic population in the U.S.  The partnership is part of Univision’s Peabody Award-winning health campaign, “Salud es Vida…¡Entérate!” and will feature public service announcements, informative oral care vignettes, news health segments and special televised reports.  In addition, extensive information about the importance of oral care will continue to be available on dedicated Entérate website pages throughout Univision.com.

“Research has shown that Latino preschoolers - the fastest growing child population in the country - experience 2.5 times more tooth decay than the general population .
