Emotionally Charged “Barrera De Amor” Finale Beats Fox And Cw Among Adults 18-34 & 18-49
Univision Ranks #4 for Time Period
Miami, FL -- With a fiery battle between good and evil that nearly takes the life of its beautiful leading lady, and featuring a lavish, mother-daughter double wedding, the highly anticipated Monday, October 2nd finale of “Barrera de Amor” (Barrier of Love) delivered an average audience of 5.4 million Persons 2+, according to Nielsen Television Index Fast Affiliate Ratings.
It also delivered 3.3 million Adults 18-49 and 1.9 million Adults 18-34, propelling the network to #4 for those two demos in its 9-10pm time period, beating “Vanished” on FOX with 1.4 and 2.9 million, and “Runaway” on CW with 593,000 and 1 million, respectively.
Featuring an all-star cast including novela superstar Yadhira Carrillo, ever-popular leading man Sergio Reynoso, handsome young heartthrob Aarón Díaz, and the wickedly beautiful Chantal Andere in the role of the villainess, the lavish production set in and around the beautiful Mexican town of Aguascalientes proved to be an equally impressive hit with men.
