Carlos Calderón To Join Radiocadena Univision’s "Hollywood Al Aire"
Miami, FL -- Univision Radio, a division of Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN) and the leading Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States, today announced that Carlos Calderón, one of Hispanic America’s favorite young entertainment hosts, will join RadioCadena Univision’s signature program “Hollywood al Aire” (Hollywood On Air) beginning March 10, 2007.
“Hollywood al Aire” features the latest in entertainment news, including reviews on Hollywood releases, celebrity gossip and reports on the hottest trends in Hollywood. The show’s new and revamped format is a perfect fit for Calderón’s fresh and progressive style. This first-rate production will feature Calderón’s expert commentaries about new and future film and DVD releases, celebrity interviews and much more.
Mexican-born Calderón is well known for his work as host of Galavisión’s interactive music show “Acceso Máximo” (Maximum Access) and for his role as the entertainment anchor for Univision’s “Primer Impacto Fin de Semana” (First Impact Weekend Edition). He is a frequent fill-in host on the network’s popular entertainment magazine “El Gordo y La Flaca” (The Scoop and The Skinny). He has also made numerous appearances on many other shows, including live reports from “Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina” (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards) and “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards).
“Hollywood al Aire” airs every Saturday in Miami on 1140 AM; New York on 1280 AM; Chicago on 1200 AM; Houston on 1010 AM; McAllen on 1530 AM; Dallas on 1270 AM; San Antonio on 1350 AM, El Paso on 750 AM; San Francisco on 1170 AM; Los Angeles on 1020 AM; and in Las Vegas on 870 AM.
