Univision Radio Names Angela Navarrete General Manager, Fresno Stations
Miami, FL -- Univision Radio, the largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States, today announced the promotion of Angela Navarrete to General Manager of the Company’s stations in Fresno, California, KZOL-FM and KOND-FM.
“We are proud to name Angela as leader of our stations in Fresno,” commented Gary Stone, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Univision Radio. “She has demonstrated extremely strong leadership skills while directing the sales division for our McAllen stations,” he added.

Navarrete, who was born in Mexico City, has over fifteen years of broadcasting experience. She served previously as Director of Sales for Univision Radio’s McAllen, Texas radio stations. Navarrete received her degree in Industrial Marketing from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining Univision Radio in 2002, Navarrete was General Manager of Amigo Broadcasting in Austin and Waco, Texas. Prior to Amigo, she worked for Rodriguez Communications in various capacities including sales management, station acquisitions and new-market launches. Navarrete began her media career in 1989 as an account executive for Telemundo in Dallas.
