Miami, FL -- After her success in the hit-novella “La Usurpadora”, the popular Mexican star, Gabriela Spanic returns to Univision’s prime time nights next Monday, November 19, 7:00pm/6:00pm Central), to star in another of Televisa’s great mega-production, “LA INTRUSA”.  The story interlocks a great love story and the conflicts motivated by envy, ambition and lies between two rival families.

Gabriela Spanic’s splendid lead in “LA INTRUSA” blends beautifully with of the most popular novella actor’s,  Arturo Peniche.  Co-starring with them is a star-studded production: Karla Álvarez, Chantal Andere, Enrique Lizalde, Sergio Sendel, Laura Zapata, Silvia Derbez, Gustavo Rojo, and Irma Lozano.

The story line in “LA INTRUSA” revolves around Virginia Martinez  (Gabriela Spanic), a beautiful but sensible and honorable woman, who works as a governess in the home of Rodrigo Junquera  (Enrique Lizalde). He has  six children: Junior (Guillermo García Cantú), Carlos Alberto (Arturo Peniche), Raquel (Chantal Andere), Violeta (Karla Álvarez), Aldo  (José Maria Torres) and Memo (Sergio Villicaña).  Upon discovering he has a terminal illness, Rodrigo, who has squandered his fortune, decides to marry Virginia so she could look after his family after his death. When they find out, however, they turn their hatred onto her, although she struggles with all her heart to keep the family together, just as she promised Rodrigo. Meantime, Carlos Alberto, without good intentions, starts to seduce Virginia but she sincerely falls in love with him.

Alirio Roldan (Claudio Báez), Rodrigo’s former partner hates that family, hates the Junquera’s family, hate that his frivolous wife, Maximiliana (Laura Zapata), indulges so much that is willing to sacrifice her family to fulfill her ambition. Her daughter Anabella (Dominica Paleta) keeps a secret relationship with Carlos Alberto, while Virginia, hurt, accepts Danilo Roldán’s (Sergio Sendel) approaches. When Carlos Alberto realizes that he loves Virginia, he begins to fight for her love. It is then that conflicts for these two families collide.
