Telefutura Reigns As #2 Spanish-Language Network In Prime For 4th Weekend In A Row

TeleFutura Delivers More Than 8 Times the Adult 18-49 Audience of Telemundo’s "Kickoff ‘06 de la NFL"

Miami, FL -- The TeleFutura Television Network was  the nation’s #2 most-watched Spanish-language television network for the fourth consecutive weekend among Hispanic Adults 18-49,  scoring significant advantages in all key demos over Telemundo’s highly promoted “Kickoff  ‘06 de la NFL” football special on Saturday night.

According to the Nielsen Hispanic Television Index (NHTI), TeleFutura’s combination of its blockbuster movie and live coverage of “Fútbol Liga Mexicana” Mexican League Soccer delivered more that 8 times the Adult 18-49 audience of rival Telemundo’s newest association with the National Football League’s 2006 Kickoff event. In addition, TeleFutura’s Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 audience was nearly 9 times and more than 11 times that of the Telemundo special respectively, in spite of its presumably male-skewing appeal.
