Univision Presents Health Special on Depression Saturday, June 23
Miami, FL -- Univision will air a half-hour special “Depresión...Sus Síntomas y Tratamiento...Entérate!” (Depression, Symptoms and Treatments…Get the Facts) hosted by Univision news co-anchor and news correspondent Teresa Rodríguez on Saturday, June 23 (check your local listings for time). As part of Univision’s Peabody award winning health initiative “Salud es Vida…! Entérate!” (Lead a Healthy Life…Get the Facts!), this revealing special will take an in-depth look at the symptoms, causes, and options available to treat depression.
“Depresión...Sus Síntomas y Tratamiento...Entérate!” will also include interviews with medical and mental health experts, as well as Dr. Isabel, from RadioCadena Univision, who will share with viewers how families can provide assistance and support to those affected with this condition. The special will also address cultural misperceptions related to treatment and will provide information on mental health services and resources that are available to the community.
“Salud es Vida…ˇEntérate!” is a national effort designed to raise awareness, increase knowledge and encourage positive health decision-making.
