ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A sausage shop is the unusual, but very fitting setting for this tangled web of inter-generational stories of love, trust, jealousy, and compassion.

José Antonio Hierro (Alejandro Camacho,) is a kind-hearted but extremely jealous owner of a delicatessen who everyone addresses by his last name, “Hierro,” which means “Steel.” But he needs nerves of steel to deal with his complicated and versatile family: his wife of 25 years, Elena (Blanca Guerra), his three children, Sebastian (Jorge Poza), Sandy (Angelique Boyer), and Wicho (Eddy Vilard); his mother and sister-in-law, Mimicha (Luz María Aguilar) and Paty (Martha Julia); and his recently declared gay father Ignacio (Rafael Inclán).

Adding to the madness are Renata (Zuria Vega), the woman both Wicho and Sebastián are vying for, and Rita (Adamari López), Sebastián’s quiet yet obsessive teaching assistant who will do anything to win his love.

Eventually love blooms, both amongst youngsters and adults, and triangles flourish. Relationships are formed and broken-up, and then reformed again into new combinations until an unexpected event brings matters to a head. Finally, lessons are learned by all and each member of this unusual family grows stronger and wiser, as they develop their own souls of steel.
