Univision’s New Sunday Night Prime-Time Show Beats CBS and NBC For 2nd Consecutive Week
“Bailando por un Sueño” continues to be a hit
Miami, FL -- For the second week in a row, “Bailando por un Sueño” (Dancing for a Dream) made Univision the #3 ranked network in the nation according to NTI from 8-11pm among Adults 18-34 beating CBS and NBC on another highly competitive night of first-run programming. The 3-hour dance competition airs each Sunday night from 8-11pm ET/PT (7-10pm CT/MT).
Locally, “Bailando por un Sueño” continued its success, as well. Once again in Los Angeles, according to NSI, it was the #1 program in its time slot among Adults 18-34 and 18-49. In San Francisco, the show was #2 during its time period in the same demos, just behind ABC. Both New York and Dallas, where the show was #3, saw significant increases in viewership over the previous week, as well. In New York, audiences grew +33% and +30% respectively among both Adults 18-34 and 18-49 while Dallas saw growth of +16% and +9%.
