Paul Crespo Joins Maria Elvira Salazar as Co-Host of ‘De 4 a 5 con Maria Elvira y Paul’ - WQBA 1140 AM’s New Afternoon Show
Miami, FL -- Univision Radio, the largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States, today announced the addition of popular political analyst Paul Crespo to its lineup of celebrated on-air personalities at WQBA 1140 AM in Miami. Crespo will co-host “De 4 a 5 con Maria Elvira y Paul” with Maria Elvira Salazar from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The show features in-depth coverage and analysis of both national and international news and current events. “The combination of Paul’s passion and opinionated style and Maria Elvira’s great journalistic background make for an explosive one-hour-show on WQBA,” stated Teresa Montoya, Programming Director for WQBA 1140 AM.
Crespo is highly characterized for his strong political opinions. A lecturer in the political science department at the University of Miami, he previously wrote a regular column for The Miami Herald on politics, military affairs and diplomacy. He has appeared nationally and internationally on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News, and has been a frequent guest on Univision and other Spanish-language television and radio news shows.
Salazar, a three-time-Emmy-award-winner for her news coverage of Latin America, began her journalistic career in 1983 as a reporter for Univision Channel 23. She headed the first Spanish National news-cast produced by an American mainstream news network, CNN and has become a household name throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County.
