Under the direction of Salvador Mejía Alejandre, the highly successful Executive Producer of such blockbuster hits as “La Madrastra,” “Inocente de Ti,” and “Mariana de la Noche,” “Mundo de Fieras” breaks new ground within the popular novela format. This unique novela introduces three evil women who plot and scheme to wreck havoc and conspire against the lead characters’ search for love and happiness.  “Mundo de Fieras” also marks the return of one of Spanish-language television’s most popular leading men, César Evora (La Madrastra, Entre el Amor y el Odio), in not one but two leading roles. Playing identical twins separated at birth, Evora portrays the good-hearted and honorable Gabriel, who was raised in the lap of luxury and sheltered by his loving adoptive parents, as well as Demián, the mean spirited brother who grew up in poverty and who turned to a life of crime…and dedicated to destroying Gabriel.

But an evil twin is only one of Gabriel’s problems. His second wife Joselyn, played by superstar Edith González (Mujer de Madera, Salomé), suffers from frequent bouts of hysteria and baseless jealousy that threatens to destroy the marriage. Joselyn’s mother, Miriam, played by respected actress Helena Rojo (Amor Real, Inocente de Ti), lives in the same house and is a tyrannical, greedy, and calculating woman with dark secrets who is capable of murder to further her ambitions. Joselyn’s daughter from her first marriage, Karen, played by the dynamic Michelle Vieth (La Madrastra, Amigas y Rivales), is spoiled, self-serving, and envious of her step-sister, Paulina, played by the beautiful Sara Maldonado (Corazones al Limite), and her growing romance with the handsome and kind Juan Cristóbal, portrayed by youthful heart-throb Sebastián Rulli (Contra Viento y Marea, Rubí).
