Jaime Bauzá Joins Univision Radio-Puerto Rico As General Manager Of WKAQ-AM/FM and WUKQ-AM/FM
Miami, FL -- Univision Radio, a division of Univision Communications Inc. and the leading Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States, today announced that Jaime Bauzá has joined Univision Radio as General Manager of WKAQ-AM/FM and WUKQ-AM/FM in Puerto Rico.
As General Manager, Bauzá will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all of Univision Radio’s broadcast properties in Puerto Rico. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for all stations. Bauzá will report to Claudia Puig, Senior VP and Regional Manager for the Southeastern Region.

Prior to joining Univision, Bauzá worked at The San Juan Star Media Network where he oversaw the development of a centralized business model for operations, sales, traffic, accounting and service of the multimedia operation. During his tenure, he also supervised the marketing and advertising campaigns for the companies’ main products and the re-launch of the Sunday edition of the newspaper. Bauzá also headed the creation of their Internet Division.
Bauzá previously served as the General Manager of Borinquen Broadcasting Inc., where he created a new format for one of the stations and successfully led it to phenomenal ratings, sales and revenues growth.
