Galavisión Unveils Programming Lineup for 2005-2006 Season. #1 Spanish-Language Cable Network Debuts Five New Galavisión Productions and Extends Lineup of Sports, News and Entertainment Offerings
Network consistently outdelivers all other Spanish-language cable networks combined
New York, NY -- Spanish-language cable network Galavisión today announced its 2005-2006 programming lineup. Galavisión, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, is the leading cable network in the U.S. for Hispanic Adults 18-49, outdelivering the other 14 Spanish-language cable networks combined in both primetime and total day.
Available to almost six million Hispanic subscribers and more than 40 million cable and satellite subscribers, Galavisión is the most widely distributed Spanish-language cable network in the United States. The Network offers more than 50 hours of live news, sports and entertainment programming each week.

New Programs
Galavisión’s programming lineup for 2005-2006 features five original, first-run programs:
• “Acceso Máximo” – Galavisión goes live on Saturday nights with the first interactive show to hit primetime Spanish-language cable television. Through text messaging and online voting, viewers choose the music videos they want to see as Spanish TV’s hippest host Carlos Calderón and celebrity guests broadcast the audience’s requests live on the air. (Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. ET)
• “En Profundidad” – This news show goes beyond the headlines to provide an in-depth look at the most pressing social issues facing Hispanics’ lives. (Monthly, Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. ET)
• “El Rastro del Crimen” – In this new program, forensic investigators take viewers to the scenes of real-life murder mysteries (Wednesday, 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. ET)
• “Pulso TV”– Viewers re-live the week’s most memorable moments on Spanish-language TV, and can go online to vote for their favorites. (Saturday, 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. ET)
• “La Lista”– This new show brings Hispanic audiences Top 10 weekly lists in various categories, including the hottest celebrities, most beautiful destinations, most outrageous gossip, etc. (Saturday, 9:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. ET)
In addition, sports fans will have three more reasons to turn to Galavisión:
• “World Cup 2006” comes to Galavisión next summer, as 32 countries from all over the world compete in the world’s most renowned soccer tournament. Galavisión will bring soccer fanatics the day’s best matches in primetime and early fringe. (June 9-July 9, 2006)
• “Sólo D’ Fútbol” takes soccer fans inside the game with an interactive show featuring commentary and footage of the latest soccer matches. (Tuesday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. ET)
