Charlie Echeverry Appointed Senior Vice President Digital Sales, Univision Online, Inc.

Leading Digital Sales SVP, Charlie Echeverry, Joins #1 Spanish-Language Web Portal


New York, NY -- Univision Online, Inc., the interactive subsidiary of Univision Communications Inc., the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, announced that Charlie Echeverry has been named Senior Vice President of Digital Sales effective immediately.  Echeverry will be responsible for growing advertising and sponsorship revenue for Univision Online in the western region, and national sales for mobile marketing.  He will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Byron Elton, Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales, Univision Online.

Echeverry spent the last five years as the Vice President of Digital Media Sales for the Walt Disney Internet Group in western and mid-west markets.  His team consistently met yearly revenue goals that exceeded annual run rates in top categories such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Media and Entertainment, Telecom and Technology.  

Prior to joining Disney, Echeverry was the Director of Sales at America Online, Inc. for the western region, where he managed the sales team for AOL Local.  In addition, he was the Regional Sales Manager for retail in the west and a Senior Account Executive at AOL Local.
