Univision KTVW 33 Receives Emmy® Nominations

Station Receives Record 38 Nominations


Phoenix, AZ -- KTVW Univision 33 is the proud recipient of 38 Emmy® nominations from the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the 2008 Emmy awards.  The ceremony will take place the evening of Saturday, October 4th, 2008 at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa in Glendale, Arizona.

This year represents the most nominations in the history of KTVW Univision 33, breaking the previous record of 32 nominations set in 2003.

Univision 33’s production, news and promotions departments are all nominated. This is the eighth consecutive year that KTVW has been nominated for the coveted Emmy awards. In addition, Univision 33 is the only Spanish-language television station in the Phoenix market to receive nominations consistently during the last eight years.
