San Francisco, CA/San Jose, CA -- The Bay Area’s leading Spanish-language newscast Noticias 14 is producing a special campaign featuring tax tips and advice for the Hispanic community, called “Impuestos al Día.”  The campaign includes a weekly news segment which will appear each Thursday in the 6p.m. Noticias 14 newscast from February 6 through April 10, leading up to the U.S. government’s income tax filing deadline, April 15.

Noticias 14, which is produced daily at 6p.m. and 11p.m. on KDTV Univision 14, has already confirmed a panel of guests from the Internal Revenue Service and various tax planning organizations to offer expert advice on “Impuestos al Día.”  Beyond the weekly segment, audiences will have the opportunity to get a direct response to their anonymous tax questions by calling Spanish-speaking IRS representatives on dedicated phone lines made available by KDTV Univision 14.  Viewers can also contact KDTV Univision’s Information Line for additional information.

In addition, Noticias 14 plans to chronicle its featured tax tips and advice on their website, (www.univision.com; UniClave: Noticias 14) and offer links to other Spanish-language tax resources.  While they are on location reporting, Noticias 14 news crews will also have tax planning pamphlets to share with the local community.
