Univision Records and Pepe Aguilar Agree to Part Ways Amicably
Leading regional Mexican artist and record label mutually agree to end recording deal
Woodland Hills, CA -- Univision Records, a member of Univision Music Group, the country’s leading Latin music label, and legendary recording artist Pepe Aguilar made a joint announcement today ending their recording relationship effective immediately.
This mutual and cordial agreement follows a one-year affiliation and the release of two full-length albums. Both Aguilar and Univision Records concur that this resolution best serves the business and professional interests of both parties.

Pepe Aguilar stated, “I sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication of Univision Records management and employees in marketing and selling my music. I am proud to have been part of this great record company during this short period of time.”
No further details were given regarding the joint decision. Both Aguilar and Univision Records coincided that an early amicable termination of their recording agreement would be most beneficial to their respective artistic and creative endeavors.
