Marco Antonio Solis Renews with Fonovisa Records
Woodland Hills, CA -- Marco Antonio Solis one of the most revered singer, songwriter, and producer in the Latin music world renewed a worldwide multi-album contract with Fonovisa Records this week.

For over 25 years Marco Antonio Solis has penned some of Latin music's hit songs such as: "Tu Carcel," "Como Fui A Enamorarme De Ti," "Sigue Sin Mi," "Si No Te Hubieras Ido" just to name a few. With over 20 albums under his belt and more than 300 songs and millions of records sold in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, Puerto Rico and Spain. Throughout his extensive music career Marco Antonio Solis has amassed 8 Gold (RIAA) and 1 Platinum (RIAA) albums. In addition, six of his songs have reached #1 on the Billboard 'Hot Latin Tracks' chart.
Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, Marco Antonio Solis formed Los Bukis in the early 70's as a teenager. Over the course of the next two decades Los Bukis came to profoundly influence Regional Mexican music in the United States and Mexico. Later, Solis initiated a solo career that has earned him the admiration of music fans throughout the world.
His new album on Fonovisa Records titled "Tu Amor O Tu Desprecio," is slated for May 13, 2003. This album includes 10 songs of which 9 were written by him. On this album he revisits 'popular' ranchero music, a genre that is dear to his heart.
