Univision Chicago Hace Historia al Ganar Tres Silver Dome Awards
Univision Chicago Awarded the Most Silver Domes for a Single Year of Any Spanish TV Station in Illinois History
Chicago, IL -- On Wednesday, June 7th Univision Chicago was awarded three Illinois Broadcasting Association’s 2006 Silver Dome Awards for “Best Single Hard News Story”, “Best TV Late Evening Newscast” and “Best Single Commercial for an Advertiser”. This was the most Silver Domes ever won in a single year by Univision Chicago, as well as the most Silver Dome Awards ever won by any Spanish TV station in Illinois history.
Each spring the Illinois Broadcasting Association recognizes the previous year’s work among radio and television stations throughout the state by presenting the “Best in the State of Illinois”, Silver Dome Awards, in a variety of categories.
Univision Chicago won 2006 Silver Dome Awards for:
• Best Single Hard News Story - Michael’s Challenge • Best TV Late Evening Newscast - Pope’s Death Coverage • Best Single Commercial for an Advertiser - McDonald’s Hispanic
