Univision Radio Anuncia Nombramiento de Timothy Ward como Vicepresidente Senior y Gerente Financiero
Dallas, TX -- Univision Communications, Inc. (NYSE: UVN), the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, today announced the appointment of Timothy Ward as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Univision Radio, Inc. Since June 2004, Mr. Ward has served as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Univision Radio. Mr. Ward has been with Univision Radio (formerly Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation) since 2000, serving previously as Assistant Treasurer and Vice President & Treasurer. Mr. Ward continues in his primary responsibilities of managing Univision Radio’s financial and business affairs, cash management, radio station acquisitions, and assisting in the group’s strategic direction.

Prior to joining Univision Radio, Mr. Ward held financial management positions with radio broadcaster AMFM, Inc. prior to its merger with Clear Channel Communications, and with The Associates, which is now part of Citigroup. He began his career at KPMG in Dallas and served as a research fellow at the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in Washington, DC.
Mr. Ward earned a BBA from Baylor University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He has been active in the Dallas civic community and instrumental in mentoring youth. Mr. Ward serves on a business school advisory board at Baylor University and on the board of the Broadcasting Cable Financial Management Association (BCFM).
