Univision Radio Lanza un Nuevo Formato en Las Vegas

New “Radio Variedades” KLSQ 870AM to follow Spanish variety format


Las Vegas, NV -- Univision Radio Las Vegas today announced the re-naming of its flagship station KLSQ 870 AM to “Radio Variedades,” effective immediately.  Radio Variedades KLSQ 870 AM will follow a Spanish variety format.  

Radio Variedades KLSQ 870 AM will play an assortment of traditional rancheras, corridos and informative talk programming through nationally syndicated programs like “La Dra. Isabel,” “Tu Dinero con Julie Stav,” and  “Locura Por el Futbol.”

KLSQ 870 AM is home of Spanish–language play-by-play broadcasts of the Las Vegas 51’s baseball and is also the only Spanish-language radio station to ever win the prestigious Ad Council Silver Bell award for its community service efforts.

Radio Variedades KLSQ 870 AM’s sister stations include La Nueva 103.5 FM, home of the number one morning show in Las Vegas, “Piolin Por la Mañana” (Arbitron Fall 2005), and Recuerdo 99.3 FM.
