Univision Communications Elije a Michael O. Johnson para su Junta de Directores

Los Angeles, CA -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN), the leading Spanish-language media company in the U.S., today announced that Michael O. Johnson has been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors and will serve as a member of the Board’s Audit Committee.  Johnson will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Fernando Aguirre on February 18, 2005.

Johnson currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF), a global network marketing company that sells weight management, nutritional supplement and personal-care products. Prior to joining Herbalife in 2003, Johnson spent 17 years at the Walt Disney Corporation where he headed the Company’s Worldwide Video Group, restructuring its video business model and market presence, and acted as President of Disney International, where he devised and launched Disney’s “Disney I” subscription entertainment business. Johnson has also served as Publisher of Audio Times magazine and as a marketing executive for Warner Amex Satellite Entertainment Company.
