Univision WLTV/23 Gana 3 Premios Emmy Regionales, y Galavisión 2
Miami, FL -- The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the winners of the 2004 Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards in recognition of excellence in television as it presented Univision (WLTV 23 / Miami) with three awards and Galavision with two. The awards were presented to the winners in a ceremony that took place in South Beach on Saturday, December 11, 2004.
The winners are as follows:
· News/Public Affairs Reports/Segments “Segundos para Salvarse” (Seconds to Survive) – Sandra Peebles, Armando Pico, Emilio Marrero, Ana Carolina Garcia
· Investigative Reports: “Voces del Secuestro” (Voices of the Kidnapped) – Mario Andres Moreno, Carolina Garcia
· Promotional Spot-News: “Top Sekret” (Top Secret) Evisabel Fabregas, Clara Caycedo, Brian Escudero:
In addition, Galavision, the nation’s leading Spanish language cable television network operated by Univision Communications Inc., was nominated under the Promotional Spot category for the following segments:
· Promotional Spots-Programs: “Te Conecta a lo Tuyo” (Connecting you to What you Want) – Juan M. Garcia-Freundt and “2003 El Año de los Desencuentros” (2003 The Year of the Non-encounters) – Carlos Segura, Carlos Vega
The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced 13 nominees from Univision and 1 from Galavision on October 23.
