Univision Accepts Peabody Award for its Health Initiative “ˇSalud es Vida… Entérate!”
New York, NY -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN), the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, today announced that its cross-platform health initiative “ˇSalud es Vida… Entérate!” was honored at the Sixty-Fourth Annual Peabody Awards Ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Univision’s ‘ˇEntérate!’ was chosen as one of 32 programs that represents the best in electronic media for 2004, earning the Univision Network the distinction of becoming the first Spanish-language network to receive a Peabody Award.

Presented annually by the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, this year’s Peabody Awards Ceremony was hosted by veteran CBS News correspondent and “60 Minutes” co-editor Morley Safer.
