Univision 40 WUVC y CMG Partners Auspician Seminario de Banca Hispano
Raleigh, NC -- WUVC Univision 40, in conjunction with CMG Partners, today announced that it will hold a seminar series to provide the area business community with insight on the growing Hispanic community and to offer practical advice on creating a successful customer base. In the first seminar of the series, “Innovative Approaches to Hispanic Retail Banking,” representatives from the regional retail banking industry will share their strategies and suggestions for effectively approaching and serving the Hispanic demographic. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh.
During the next two decades, more than half of all U.S. retail banking growth in the financial services sector will come from America's expanding Hispanic population, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. This estimate, paired with the extraordinary Hispanic population boom currently taking place in North Carolina, bodes well for banking institutions that seek to increase their market share.
All of the panel’s featured speakers have extensive experience in the banking industry and have historically been successful in helping companies build a Hispanic customer base. The speakers – Moira Triveri, Director, CMGP Hispano; John Ramsey, Associate Partner, CMGP Hispano; John Herrera, President, Latino Community Credit Union; and Marina Crosby, President 2Americas Corp. – will deliver presentations on these topics:
• “The North Carolina Hispanic Boom” • "Don’t Hurt Your Customers!" • “Serving the New Immigrant Mortgage Market” • “El Banco de Nuestra Comunidad” Case Study
