KDTV Univision 14 a Punto de Clasificar Como la Tercera Estación de TV del Bay Area Entre Adultos Totales 18-49 del Bay Area
February 2006 Nielsen Station index reveals KDTV is tied with KPIX CBS5
San Francisco, CA -- With one day remaining in the February 2006 Nielsen Station Index (NSI) sweep, the Bay Area’s #1 Spanish-language television station, KDTV Univision 14, is pacing to tie KPIX CBS5 in the highly sought-after Adult 18-49 demographic. In the Total Day broadcast rotation (Monday through Sunday, 6 am to 2 am), KDTV is currently averaging a .7 rating among Bay Area Adults 18-49, which ties KPIX/CBS’ performance and follows #1 KNTV/NBC with a 1.7 rating and KGO/ABC and KTVU/FOX which are tied for second in the ranks with a 1.2 rating in the demographic.
Although KDTV Univision 14 has previously ranked as high as #3 in the overall station rankings (July 2005 NSI), this current performance will mark the first time KDTV has been this competitive in a major sweeps period when the competing networks traditionally offer their very best original programming, unlike summer months when repeat programming is standard.
In the current February 2006 NSI survey, KDTV Univision 14 is already outpacing KPIX in the early news competition among Adults 18-49 and is only .4 ratings points behind the CBS station in primetime and .3 ratings shy in the late news race in the demo.
